At A Ready Minded Youth Foundation, we provide hands-on learning experiences that introduce vocational skills in a structured, supervised environment.

Through practical instruction, participants learn more than technical skills. They develop self-discipline, responsibility, and self-control—both in daily life and in workplace settings.

The Foundation supports the development of each participant with a strong emphasis on practical skills that extend beyond the program.

Our Foundation Program reintroduces hands-on courses that have become less accessible in many high schools.

Vocational Trades offered include
Woodshop, Home Economic (Cooking & Sewing), Heat Press Transfer, Automotive, Parenting 101,
Leather Works, Professional Development, and Professional Mindset Training.

Participants receive guidance in professional presentation, appropriate workplace attire, interview preparation, and understanding employer expectations.

Alongside these skills, the program emphasizes self-motivation, personal responsibility, and discipline—qualities that support long-term success in any work environment, as they take steps toward meaningful employment opportunities.

The A Ready Minded Youth Foundation offers a 10-week vocational trades program designed for youth ages 15–17 and young adults ages 18–22.

Classes are held at our Metro Phoenix location and meet twice per week, Sunday through Friday, depending on the program schedule. Summer and Fall sessions are available, and class sizes are intentionally limited to maintain a focused, supervised learning environment.

In addition to the full 10-week program, individual trade classes are available for participants who prefer targeted instruction in a specific skill area. See our Services Page for individual class options.

Enrollment is limited to ensure quality instruction and individualized attention. Families are encouraged to inquire early to explore available options and scheduling.
